Everyday Glam Drugstore Makeup Routine

Everyday Glam Drugstore Makeup Products - Bre Sheppard.JPG

I have been promising to share my drugstore routine with you for the longest time, and I am so excited to finally share it all! I have always loved makeup because you don’t need to spend a ton of money to get an amazing look. I combined some of my holy grail drugstore products, with some of the products you guys suggested from my IG stories a few days ago, to create the ultimate easy daily glam routine! I found everything I needed for this full drugstore makeup routine look at Walmart!

Some of these products I use daily, like the Maybelline 24 Hour Foundation, and are tried and true. This product is so good for the $12 price tag; it goes on smooth and doesn’t oxidize. If you use a damp beauty blender to apply I think the application goes on just as good as any expensive foundation. I love that this works for many skin types too! I have very dry skin that tends to get oily around my hairline and chin, so it can be hard to keep my foundation even during the day. When used with a primer and light powder over the top, I find this combo stays in place all day!

I love that you had so many suggestions for me as well! I have included them in a pinnable list below, so you can go back and look for these highly suggested products when you are at the drugstore looking for makeup next!

my favorite drugstore products

everything is less than $14

Everyday Glam Drugstore Revolution Palette - Bre Sheppard.JPG

details & colors for each product

Foundation: Maybelline 24hr Foundation / I mix both 118 and 128
I love to mix 118 and 128 in the Spring, it is the perfect combo for lighter skin but still having the warm undertones. In the summer I love to use 228, it has the perfect warm undertones while giving a deeper color. I find that this foundation goes on really well with a damp beauty blender & applies evenly with no oxidization.

Concealer: Maybelline Master Conceal / Light - Medium

Face Powder: Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder / 041 Translucent Extra Coverage
I got more suggestions for this product than literally any other drugstore product haha! I will have to say the smell is slightly off-putting, it doesn’t have a fresh smell like I prefer my skincare/makeup products to have. However, it does work really well! If you are someone who likes to “bake” your powder on top of your concealer, this is the perfect drugstore product. I used it lightly all over my face and love how lightweight it feels while combatting oil.

Bronzer: NYX Cosmetics / Medium is the perfect shade for medium skin tones

Blush: Maybelline Fit Me Blush / Coral for the perfect peachy glow

Highlighter: Maybelline Facestudio Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter / Molten Gold
I apply my highlighter to the tip of my nose, and above where I put my blush. It adds a little bit of glow and helps make me look alive & awake haha!

Brows: NYX Professional Makeup Tinted Brow Mascara / Chocolate or Brunette
The perfect share for both blondes and brunettes. Adds a slight hold and brows stay in place all day long with a subtle hint of color to define & shape them.

Eye Shadow: COVERGIRL Eyeshadow Palette / Revolution
This is a great palette for a beginner who is just getting in to makeup, because it has so many shades that are easy to wear. I love the subtle nude and peach colors, and at only $14 the colors are surprisingly pigmented and I think will last several months of daily use.

Eye Liner: Maybelline New York Line Stiletto Ultimate Precision Liquid Eyeliner / Blackest Black
Black liner with a perfect small precision tip. I find that it applies really easily and smooth. It stays in place all day long for only $6.

Mascara: L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise Washable Mascara / Blackest Black
Okay you ladies are lovin’ this mascara, it was the 2nd most suggested drugstore product, next to the Airspun face powder! It sounds like it is a great dupe to the TooFaced Better Than Sex mascara, and this was my first time trying it out! Overall I really like the shape of the applicator and the mascara goes on really well. For $6 it is definitely a good drugstore option!

Lipstick: Revlon super lustrous lipstick (nudes) / Nude Attitude

Lipgloss: Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine/ NUDE
