Goodbye Summer 2017

It's pretty crazy to me that Summer is winding down and Fall is right around the corner!! I am going to miss these warm nights, late dinners with friends, pretty sunsets, gettin' my tan on (haha!) and packing every weekend with roadtrips, water, and memories. To cap off this amazing Summer here are three of my favorite memories!

Vacation With Matt

Just a few months ago Matt & I decided we needed a vacation, or maybe more like a staycation haha! We took a week of from work and went to stay at my parents vacation house on Lake Entiat, right near Chelan, WA. We slept in, went out to breakfast (I had the BEST biscuits & gravy ever haha), drove to small coffee shops, read, took naps, played games, and watched probably 10 movies. It was perfect!!

It's so important to recharge and refuel your relationships, and this was one week I will always remember and cherish together.

YoungLife Malibu Club

For two years now Matt and I have been volunteer leaders for an organization called YoungLife! It's aim is to connect high school kids with Jesus, but in a super fun & lighthearted way. Every Monday night we meet up to play crazy games, sing songs, and speak to them about how much Jesus loves them.

There's usually about 60 kids who show up from the two schools we lead at. Every Summer we get the opportunity to take about 150 kids to this amazing camp in Canada, where they get to unplug and be inspired by beautiful creation all around them. From wakeboarding in the ocean, kayaking with seals, swimming with friends in a huge pool, going on the zipline through trees, riding bikes, going off the blob.. it's a week kids do not forget and we get to be a huge part of it!

This has been a highlight of my Summer the past two years!

My BFF Got Married!

I mean, of course this makes the cut for my top Summer memories! Been waiting years for this one haha! My sweet, loyal, amazingly beautiful friend Jaclyn got married to the love of her life in August! We celebrated earlier in the Summer with a weekend vacation in Chelan, WA and had a blast going horseback riding, out to eat, and relaxing in the sun. Her wedding day was gorgeous and everything a bride dreams of on her special day.

I was blessed to be a Maid of Honor, and cried my eyes out during my speech because she's like a sister to me!

This will forever be one of my sweetest memories. It is so special to witness the love of two people come together and commit their life together!

Cheers to one C R A Z Y Summer!
