Let's be real, sometimes, it can be difficult to feel confident. Whether you think you're not good enough, not prepared enough, or are comparing yourself to others, we can get overwhelmed by even the simplest situations in life! Being a girl who's always on the go, attending events and meeting new people, I sometimes find myself in situations where I am overwhelmed by my lack of confidence. Whether I am getting caught up in the comparison game or just feeling negative about the smallest thing about myself, I have found there are a few small steps that have a HUGE impact on boosting my confidence!

1. Take a breath! BREATHE.

We can get so caught up with everything around us; work, people, finances, literally everything can make our head spin. When we get caught up in worrying about so much stuff, life can get really overwhelming! I remember the first blog event I ever went to I was so nervous because it was the first one I had ever been invited to, and I was meeting all the girls I had followed on Instagram for so long for the first time! I was getting so worked up being worried that I wouldn't find parking, I was going to be late, and comparing my outfit before I even saw the other girls. Matt told me right before I left that night, "Remember to breathe!" It sounds simple, because it is! I had to keep reminding myself to just breathe; giving myself a few seconds to calm down helped me feel more at peace and centered my energy so I wasn't feeling so frantic. 2. Reaffirm yourself who you are!

We all have strengths, and therefore we all have weaknesses too.
