Beachwear Break Down

I spent the last week exploring San Diego with my best friend, and I have to say I sure do miss it! There is nothing better than beach bumming on the sand, shopping, and biking around in the sun. If you are like me and are always thinking about ways to escape to warmer weather, here are a few ideas for pieces to pack on your next trip! With a few fun and easy pieces, creating outfits on vacation can be so simple.

First, you will need a swimsuit if you plan on soaking up the sun or taking a dip in the water, and my top pick is Triangl Swimwear Farrah in Cherry Love. The bright purple and pink, with the crochet details on both the top and bottom are fun and add something not seen before to swimwear. For something easy to throw over your swimsuit I like to pack lots of light dresses without much liner that is breathable, because it keeps you feeling light and cool. I might be weird for doing this, but I wear Converse everywhere. I'm talkin' while biking, out to dinner, even on the beach. I love that they are easy to wash and pretty quick to dry, so romping around in sand won't damage them. (Not to mention Converse came out with a brand new style I am in love with - a perfect excuse to get another pair!) Sunglasses are next on the list, along with some classic tshirts and a sweatshirt for walking around the city at night. Say you've got a dinner date but it's so hot you can't think straight about what to wear. EASY. A romper and wedges is a dynamite combo. The right wedges are more comfortable than heels but still dress up an outfit, even a cotton romper. Topping off your suitcase is the cutest sleeping shorts from Make + Model, which are on sale right now too!

Next time you pack for vacation, make a list and stick to basics as you pack outfits straight into your bag. This will eliminate the stress of putting together outfits while you are on vacation. Also, packing pieces that can be worn with multiple items helps you pack light & smart. So no more stress about what you will bring or wear, enjoy your next vacation for all it's worth!
