It’s no secret that I love shoes and especially get excited when Fall and Winter come around
because there are always so many fun styles that come out each year!

Right now I am loving these simple tan booties for everyday wear; they can be dressed up or down and are the perfect hell height for wearing daily. I am also loving that the white bootie trend we say this Spring is back in style this season. Tan is a color that goes with everything - black, brown, denim.. you can’t go wrong with a pair of booties that you know you can rock any time!

White booties add a really casual & fun touch to any look and also are a bright pop of “color” (or lack of) for any darker fall outfit. I like them paired with a full denim look, or with a black denim skirt and sweater. I prefer a white bootie that comes up above my ankle a bit to make my leg look longer. Once again, if you get a pair with a shorter heel you can rock them with pretty much anything and get away with it. I like white booties with both bold and more casual outfits.

I also have my eye on several pairs of chunky combat boots - they are my favorite for Fall because they always give so much style to any outfit. Most combat boots have buckles, a platform bottom, fun laces, or something that makes them stand out. I like that these Marc Fisher ones I am wearing, paired with a teddy jacket, have a dark grey sort of worn look to them instead of a shiny black color.

I love my Cougar and Hunter rain boots for Fall to protect my feel from all of the Seattle rain ha! We have actually had a really good Fall so far, but I always know I am going to need them to keep me dry. And why not add some style to them as well? I love the Cougar Kensington rain boot because it is very low and doesn’t go up my leg at all. This means I can wear them with joggers and skinny jeans and not have to tuck anything inside the boot. I love Hunter rain boots because they go up my leg more and protect from puddles and mud. I also love how many colors they come in! My first pair (Matt got them for me literally 7 years ago) are turquoise - I still use and love them!

Over the knee boots, or “OTK” boots as most bloggers call them, are the BEST shoes for making your legs look long and lean. I swear by them when paired with skinny jeans and a sweater OR a little dress. They always make my legs feel long and slender, and I love this specific pair from Red Dress because they are comfortable too! These come in Black, Tan, and Brown for under $50 - by far the cheapest pair I have seen yet this Fall. Get them while they are fully stocked!

BOyfriend jeans + tan booties + cropped sweater

I have been loving wearing these baggy boyfriend jeans with SO many outfits lately because they are super comfy & high waisted. I love them paired with this lightweight Free People sweater (under $70) for a super casual and easy look. As far as casual Fall style goes, Free People always nails it with their effortless looks and perfectly oversized items. I don’t usually wear anything with a “turtleneck” but love the way this one has a subtle turtleneck detail. The fit is really flattering too; slightly oversized and cropped, without being too wide. This purple/maroon color is a great color for Fall and I can see myself wearing it with a skirt, black jeans, and skinny jeans too. I love tops that are versatile and can be worn for multiple season, in several ways. It always makes me feel like I can get more out of my clothing when I visualize all the ways I can wear an item.
