Not Your Mother's Hair Products
In February I started using a hair product from a brand that I had seen all over the shelves of the places I shop for hair supplies, but had never thought to try it! You know when you just get in to a routine of what you "normally" buy, and it can be hard to try something else? Nothing is more frustrating that trying a new product and having it NOT be what you wanted or expected. When I was picking up some new foundation (Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless is the best drugstore foundation!) the bottle of Plump For Joy hair lifter caught my eye. I had been trying several different texture sprays, dry shampoos, etc., to try and give my hair that extra oomph! For $6 I didn't think the risk was that high, so I bought it and gave it a try. From my post a few months back, you all know that I loved it!! It added just the amount of texture and volume my hair needs.
Price & Performance
Two things I look for in all beauty & hair products!
When I started to try their other products I really fell in love. Along with my toner purple shampoo, I started to use their Plump For Joy shampoo and conditioner as well. It gives a really good deep clean, and makes my hair feel thicker, if that makes sense! Their Sea Salt Spray was also recommended to me by several people after I gave a tutorial on their hair lifting spray. I love it too! It literally makes my hair feel salty - like I've been at the beach all day and my hair has that texture. It's perfect for spraying over soft waves and making your beachy, tossled hair dreams come true. It also smells like summer! I already know it is going to be my go-to this summer for being at the lake house & giving my hair that effortless look.
I'm curious of any of you have ever tried this brand and what you think of it! Are there other brands with similar products that compare in price & performance?
For what you pay for these products, they work extremely well and last a long time too! or has a brand name label. Do your research before purchasing any product, especially hair care! Find out what products last, keep your hair healthy, and work for all kinds of hair types.
