NYE Outfits That Sparkle
Whether you are a go out or stay at home kind of gal, New Years Eve is sure to spark the fun & festive side of you! Every year as NYE approaches I get excited thinking about the yummy food, cute outfits, and fireworks. There is something so exciting about ringing in a NEW year; with it comes lots to be thankful for and look forward to. For the last four or five years I have gotten together with my siblings for New Years Eve. Now both my brothers are married, and my oldest brother has a son! We still love to keep our traditions though, and NYE is one of our favorites. We usually start at someone's house with making tacos and eating before we head down to Seattle for the fireworks at the Space Needle!
Whatever you choose to do this weekend, do it in style! Here is some glitzy outfit inspiration for the perfect NYE. Enjoy!
Sequins & Sparkle
Who doesn't love sparkle and sequins? Pick any of these dresses to wear this year and you will be shining brighter than any firework (cause baby you ARE a firework.. Katy Perry anyone?)! I love that NYE gives anyone the excuse to dress up and wear something they normally might not. Add a strappy heel and you're set for a night of dancing and walking the streets of town. Even if you choose to stay home and have a more relaxing night, you can still sit around eating pizza & watching fireworks on TV in your best dress - I've heard pizza tastes better that way.
Little Black Dress
A LBD for NYE will never go out of style.. and these dresses take the term "Little Black Dress" to a whole new level. Think outside the box this year with your style choices; we've seen countless trends take the runways and streets this year and NOW is your time to show them off. What is your favorite trend of 2016? I love the cold shoulder look, deep V-neck, and layering mesh for a touch of see-through. These trends can be found anywhere! Don't have the money or time to spend on looking for a new LBD? Add a chunky necklace or drop earrings for that touch of sparkle!
