Retro Finds With ModCloth
I can’t believe I have never shopped at ModCloth before this Fall! I have always loved the retro sort of throwback 70’s vibe of the clothes they sell, but for whatever reason have never actually bought anything until recently. When I was scrolling their site I felt like so many of the items for Fall were so on trend with what we are seeing will be popular in the next few months in fashion. There was a huge variety of midi skirts and dresses, bold prints in mustards and muted Fall tones, chunky booties and easy to style blouses. I think the variety of styles is what really caught my eye.
I just took this little blurb from their site, because I think it really explains who they are as a brand and company really well: “At ModCloth, there's no such thing as an ordinary outfit. We offer women's clothing with hand-drawn prints and classic silhouettes that celebrate our community. What's more, our products are available in a diverse size range, from 00-28, including plus sizes. Our unique assortment is available online and in stores across the country, where you can meet with ModStylists® for complimentary fit and styling consultations. The ModCloth community's not afraid to wear what they want, go against the current, and be unapologetically themselves.” I completely love bands that are size inclusive and aim to make their clothes available to as many girls as they can. With a variety of sizes and styles for any body type and age, you can be sure you will find a variety of unique styles at ModCloth!

70’s floral vibes + block heels
For Fall especially I like to wear things that have a lot of muted warm tones and I found the most gorgeous midi length dress with long sleeves in the perfect print. Right now I am having a moment with anything that has a long sleeve; I think it is the perfect option for this type of transitional weather where you might not want to layer up and wear a jacket. It’s practical but also makes everything look so classy! This specific dress has a beautiful floral print that has some deep red and mustard tones, with a little but of turquoise too.
Online I thought these velvet heels were a little more red; in person they are slightly pink but I still love the bold color combined with the floral dress. I have always wanted a pair of velvet block heels and they had so many colors and styles on ModCloth.com, so impressed! If you are someone who doesn’t usually wear heels (hi that’s me haha) then the block heel style is perfect for you - they are usually a 2” heel so it won’t be too much height or hard to walk in. They also give you much more support because the heel is wider; I find these really easy to walk in and this specific heel runs true to size.
Thank you ModCloth for sponsoring this post! As always, all opinions and styling is my own.
