The Hair Product I Can't Live Without

I recently started using a new hair product that I am in love with!

Yesterday I did a short video review on my Instagram story about it; talk about stepping out of my comfort zone!

But it's that good, and you all HAVE to know about it. The product is made from the brand Not Your Mother's, and it's the Plump For Joy hair thickener & lifter.

After getting lots of comments on Instagram and the blog about people loving the "thickness" and "volume" in my hair (which to me was NOT something I saw) I decided to investigate and find a product I liked that did just that!

Of course, my mind goes to what is cheapest and most easily accessible, so to the drugstore I went. Target, RiteAid, Bartells, all of these carry this brand and are all around the same price.

So for $4 you can get this amazing texturizing gel that makes your hair full of life again!

And all the ladies with limp and dull hair said AMEN! It comes in a bottle with a pump so it's literally the easiest thing to apply and use. I use about four to five pumps on my hand, rub them together and start scrunchin'! Going from root to tips, move your hands and scrunch the gel throughout, moving your fingers through the hair so it doesn't clump. It seriously adds the most volume and shine to my hair, and it lasts all day long too!

My hair is usually pretty flat and lacks volume, even after it is freshly washed and dried. I think this product works best when your hair already has a little texture to it - like a quick run through with the curling iron. It helps elevate those soft curls and define them.

And it also gives life to those curls that have fallen flat, especially after a good night's sleep! I probably wouldn't use this product on straight hair because it isn't a powder; the gel-like texture definitely seems like it's more meant for giving volume to hair with texture.

Dull, limp hair no longer!

Try it out, you won't regret it, especially not for four dollars!

I also got a lot of questions about this outfit! I swear I can wear this caramel duster with almost anything and even though it's a statement piece it looks completely different! It was a no-brainer for me to pair it with these tan shoes my mom passed down to me years ago. And my Coach crossbody makes for the perfect accessory to complete this neutral look.

When Coach reached out to me about collaborating, I was really excited about it. My mom had always worn the cutest bags and for some reason, Coach stands out to me as one of her favorites.

For the new Spring 2017 line they revamped and changed some of their classic pieces into new designs that are more modern and updated! I love the simplicity and how easy it is to wear this bag with everything. It's small enough that it doesn't get in the way, but still managed to fit everything I need!

These STS Blue skinny jeans are called the Piper Skinny, and they are such a good deep dark wash! I often wear them with my OTK (over the knee) boots because they cover up the rip across the knee, and become the perfect dark skinny to dress up. STS Blue denim has always been one of those brands for me that just works. I know my size, I know how each style fits, and I love that they are always coming out with new style and fin designs. They are sold at Nordstrom, but usually tend to have a larger selection on their online store.

In this outfit I feel comfortable and confident! I especially feel really good about how my hair looks haha! If you try out this product, let me know what you think! And if you haven't already, check out my Instagram post to see how you can win one for yourself!
