Toddler Snack Organization On The Go

Summer time with a toddler means you need to be pretty prepared with all of the snacks in your car before you leave the house haha. We’ve gone on a couple road trips in the past several months, and I always feel so much more prepared and on top of it when I have these items for Taya in our car!

Pouch Toppers
We have used these for like two years with Tay now. From the first pouch that we gave her when she was probably six or so months old, these have helped her learn to not only get the sucking motion down when she was really little, but they are super practical now because they keep the pouch from spilling and getting everywhere. You can also use the topper to reseal the pouch & put it back in the fridge, which is also really nice. I always carry a few of these in the car just to have on hand; a lot of patches don’t need to be refrigerated, and it’s handy to be able to give her one in her car seat without it going everywhere.

Snack Holder (That Zips!)
This zip snack holder is very cute and around $25. It actually holds quite a bit while still staying thin and not taking up a lot of space. I usually slip this into our diaper bag so I can grab one item & know all of our snacks are inside of it, instead of searching around in all of the pouches for where I put a specific snack. It’s also really nice to see what’s in there & it’s easy to wipe down.

To-Go Containers
These to-go containers are like mini bento boxes for toddlers! They come in a pack of four, and they all come with a lid. Not only are they just aesthetically, pleasing and cute, but they’re really practical and a fun way for Taya to eat different snacks. These are not always the best for sitting in the car seat, because if one thing spills the whole tray spills, but if we are stopped somewhere or I know that we are on our way to dinner or something like that where I think she’s going to need a variety of snacks, this is really easy to pack. We usually do some sort of dried fruit, red pepper slices, pistachios/nuts, and a rice cracker or chip. These will also work for older kids if you needed a way to organize several kids snacks on the go.

Snack Pouch
This one is a classic, I feel like every mom probably has used one of these at some point because it for the most part contains everything your toddler is eating. I like the handles because once again from a young age, it teaches them to be independent and to learn to hold a grip on it. It comes and lots of fun colors and is great for on the go because of the soft silicone, handles, and the way the top holds snacks from spilling out.

All of these are fairly affordable and I bought all of them on Amazon so they shipped really quickly which is nice. Linking them here for you!
