When can I shop the sale?
There are 4 "levels" of access.. you can log into your Nordstrom account to access your “level”. The sale is technically designed for Nordstrom cardholders to shop the sale early, so they do favor those who shop at Nordstrom more frequently first, as a way to give them “earlier access” to shop. The sale is open to anyone on July 17th and there are typically still a variety of items in stock then! In years past they have made that open date for the public really late, so I appreciate that this year it is just a week after the early access starts. Something else to note - the “influencer” category does not mean actual influencers haha it is just the name the happened to pick for that level of shopper.
What dates are important? (Log in to your Nordstrom account to access the sale & check level)
ICON (earliest access): July 11th
AMBASSADOR: July 12th
INFLUENCER: July 13th
OPEN TO PUBLIC: July 17th (don't need a card to shop)
What is the Nordstrom Sale?
Nordstrom has a Fall preview sale every Summer, some items are unique to the sale and are only found at Nordstrom, while others are favorites from brands we love at a sale price (before the Fall season comes and prices go back to normal). It has always been designed as a way to have Nordstrom shoppers have an exclusive early access to the sale, but anyone can shop without a Nords card on the 17th. I always like to make it VERY clear that although there is a lot of hype around this sale, and there are some great discounted finds, it isn’t something you need to shop or should feel like you have to buy anything from. I have tried to keep my selections narrow & refined so you can really shop my TOP fave picks instead of bombarding you with every random item on sale. It is also a good time to get big ticket items like Fall shoes, a carseat, or jeans that are all on major sale. Just want to make it clear that you don’t have to shop this sale if you don’t need/want anything - I just love to share some of my fave picks each year for those who are shopping, and I hope this is helpful.
