My Go-To Holiday Appetizer
fig jam & goat cheese bites
It’s officially the holiday season.. which means it’s the season for my fig & goat cheese bites! These have been a favorite of mine for the past few years now'; they are very easy to make and come together in under 20 minutes. They only take four ingredients, all you can find at your local grocery store. If you do not like the flavor of fig, you could really use any jam. Raspberry or strawberry would obviously be delicious as well, but if you’ve never tried it before I recommend giving fig a try because it is very subtle and so delicious. You will need: pre made crescent rolls in a can (any brand), fig jam (pictured below), goat cheese, and fresh rosemary.
The recipe is below.. tag me if you try!
let’s make them together..
+ Preheat your oven to 350°.
+ Lay out the crescent rolls from the tube flat onto a cookie sheet. You can cut them in half to make them smaller bit size or keep the triangle shape.
+ One spoonful of fig jam spread over each of the triangle crescent pieces that are laid out on the pan.
+ Take another spoon & scoop a spoonful of goat cheese on to each crescent roll on top of the fig spread.
+ Next add a little fresh rosemary sprig!
+ Roll them up just like you would a crescent roll, making sure to tuck the cheese & fig spread into the roll.. as it bakes the cheese & fig spread will melt so just make sure as much of it stays inside the crescent roll as possible!
+ Cook at 350° for I3 minutes or so - until golden. Take off tray Immediently
+ Cool for a few minutes & ENJOY!
