Cardigan Duster + The Knot!

Ummm... mini freak out moment when you wake up
and THE KNOT has regrammed your ring selfie!!

When I posted this picture to celebrate ONE YEAR since Matt proposed, I tagged Nordstrom, some of my favorite Outfit of the Day accounts, and some shoe accounts, but I never dreamed that The Knot would repost it!

I am so obsessed with all these leaves changing color, the trees, and sidewalks covered in orange. Fall is wonderful! I love layering up on chilly days - and on days when a jacket isn't necessary the best way to keep warm is with a long duster cardigan. Lightly distressed denim and a tan t-shirt is elevated with just a simple third piece, how easy is this look!? I got this one at Nordstrom last year during the Anniversary Sale, but there are so many others I've seen that I love too! I really like this bold, almost native, print because it adds color and interest to a simple outfit.

Can you believe these shoes were my moms from when she worked at Nordstrom in the 90's?! I get more compliments on these square toed leather Liz Claiborne booties than any other shoes I own. I love the retro look, yet they go with anything I swear! I wish that the square toe was more popular because I think these would look amazing in black as well.
