Turtleneck Tank: Trending Now

Also, I probably sound like a broken record by now, but after dating the same man for over 5 years I have come to realize truly how important this is. Go on dates! Seriously, go. Make reservations, pack a picnic, get dressed up, tell each other you look good, have conversations, tell you highs and lows of the day, and most importantly laugh & enjoy yourself. Most nights I get home later than Matt because my work schedule has me working later shifts. We usually don't get to have a sit down dinner together, unless a quick bowl of cereal before bed at 11pm counts ha!

Because schedules are rough and life comes at you fast, we always try and plan a date night once a week. This is an intentional night we will make plans to be just us two and spend quality time together. And like I previously said, I love to dress up and feel good on date night! Last night for me that looked like a ribbed turtleneck tank tucked into a white denim skirt. Easy but adorable!

Last night Matt & I decided we wanted to go to our favorite place in Edmonds for dinner. Demitris is right on the water, the sunsets are incredible, and it has one of our favorite meals: Steak & Frites aka steak and loads of fries. Looks amazing right!? The beachfront in Edmonds also hold a special place in our hearts because it is where we had our first kiss and where Matt proposed! (In just two months it's already been a year - time flies!) I love this little town and all the memories it has wrapped up with it. After dinner we walked down the beach and pier and watched the incredible sunset.
