2022 Trend: Western Boots
these boots were made for walkin'
Western style boots first made their way into the fashion world last fall where we saw them paired with dresses and jeans - anything from a dressy look to something super casual. The style has stuck around through winter & now into warmer weather this year. I think the idea of wearing western boots was a little bit intimidating to me at first because I don’t really picture my style being something that translates in to that specific style. But! What I really like about these boots is that they actually can be worn in so many ways & really easily added to any wardrobe. The first pair that I bought were a simple black pair which I feel like is the easiest to style. The next pair bought was a white pair and I think these will be some of my most worn for summertime.
Style tip: With the white western boots, I plan on wearing them with anything I would typically wear white sneakers or shoes with. Like I literally wore the white western boots with jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt from free people to the mall the other day. I got so many compliments on the boots, because I feel like they take a really simple outfit and elevate it just a little bit.don’t want to over complicate wearing them and think that they will look super cute with lots of summary skirts and dresses.
There are definitely a lot of brands & different price points that carry these western style cowboy boots right now since they are so trendy. My black pair is from Free People, but I found a pair similar for much less here. and both my tan and white pair are the exact same boot and I bought them from Nordstrom. The brand is Jeffrey Campbell. I don’t think you can go wrong with whatever brand you choose! Of course, I just always like to read reviews to make sure they are going to be comfortable. Especially if you were going to be paying a little bit more for a pair, like the Jeffrey Campbell ones, I would check reviews to make sure you’re paying for a good quality pair of shoes. This pair on Amazon has pretty good reviews for being under $50!
