How I Style The Free People Ruby Jacket

LAYER IT UP / 7 MO PREGNANT

I decided to stick with my true medium (the M fits like a mens XL in my opinion) because I love everything to be oversized, and I figure it gave the shirt more versatility in my pregnancy. See below for how it looks buttoned up - and two months further in my pregnancy! I wore a lot of Lululemon yoga pants and biker shorts in my pregnancy through Summer and into Fall, so I loved that this shirt was longer on my 5’ 5” frame. You could even tie it around your waist since it doesn’t have any structure to it.

WINTER CASUAL / 9 MO PREGNANT

I literally gave birth three days after this photo was taken haha so I am full term in my pregnancy - ready to POP and the size medium in this Free People shirt jacket still fits great. Loved wearing it buttoned up with my Spanx Leather leggings while pregnant in Fall/Winter. Adding boots & a beanie takes this simple look into Winter!

MONOCHROME LAYERS / ANY SEASON

Throw the jacket on over a tank or t-shirt in the same monochrome color scheme for a simple & cute layered look. I clearly love my leggings both during pregnancy and after haha but they really are the best simple piece to start a casual outfit with. I love that this Free People shirt jacket is lightweight and soft; it can be worn buttoned up or left open for a effortless look. Paired with my new Hunter rain boots & a beanie for all this Seattle rain!
