Pregnancy Skincare

FACE

Tula Day & Night Cream: I kept my skincare routine in pregnancy very simple, sticking with my main Tula favorites. Love this moisturizer for a 2x daily hydrating glow.

Tula Face Wash: Super thankful that my skin was somewhat normal during pregnancy because it meant I could really just stick with my same simple skincare routine. In pregnancy it is important to use clean products, so I love that Tula keeps my skin clean and clear while being packed full of ingredients that are actually good for my skin.

Tula Sunscreen: One thing that I did deal with in pregnancy was hyperpigentation under my eyes from being in the sun. I read (and heard a lot of you experienced the same things in pregnancy) that this tends to happen when you are pregnant. It can happen on your face, chest, or really anywhere that the sun touches. It obviously doesn’t happen to everyone when they are pregnant but this is one thing that was new to me! I read that it was even more important now to use sunscreen daily - not just when you think you will be in the sun! I love that Tula launched this sunscreen because it is the perfect simple step after moisturizer to keep my skin hydrated, glowing, and protected from UVA & UVB rays.

BELLY

Belly Butter: I wasn’t the most consistent at applying this during my first two trimesters of pregnancy, but I have remembered to do it almost every night third trimester! I rub this on my belly, chest, and sides right before I get into bed at night. I just keep it in my night stand so even on nights when I am feeling lazy I can still reach over and apply it while laying in bed. It seems to also sooth any itchiness that my boobs get haha random side note.

Bio-Oil: I have been mixing this oil in with my body butter lately because it is supposedly incredible for your skin! Not just pregnancy - but like everyone’s skin! It is supposed to smooth out texture and blemishes, create more radiant soft skin, and hydrate too! it can help with stretch marks and dark spots.

INTAKE

Big Water Bottle: Life SAVER you guys if you do not have a big water bottle that you are drinking from daily, you need this one. I had it for a few months prior to pregnancy but really these past few months it has been a super important part of my daily routine. One days when I don’t have it with me I notice I will get a headache, feel tired or fatigued and if I drink coffee it hits me way harder when I am not drinking water throughout the day. I have a routine of filling it up with ice and filtered water right when my day begins, and I bring it everywhere with me.

Prenatal Vitamins: I will be honest, I have not been the best at remembering to take these every day, but I know the more consistent you are with taking them in your pregnancy that they DO actually have really amazing benefits.
