It’s no secret that Taya really loves the kids show Bluey! Her favorite thing is to dance around and sing “do do do do do do do.. MUM!” haha so when we were thinking of party themes for her second birthday.. we knew we had to do a Bluey theme! We knew she would see the decorations and be soo excited about everything. I’m gonna be honest I totally thought I came up with the party theme “Two-ey” haha my friend Amy and I were talking about ideas and we had the idea to combine the two..but it is definitely a party theme many others have used before haha. Ok isn’t it so cute though?! I definitely got some ideas from Pinterest, like the cake design! A lot of the other items were things that I have just put in a folder and saved from Etsy and Amazon over the past few months. It’s been so fun to find unique items & piece everything together. I wanted the theme to clearly be Bluey but also be subtle and girly. I added bits of pink and peachy tones instead of just doing blue and orange. I love how everything turned out & how it all came together! All the details from the party are listed and linked below!

Invite (I used Evite)
+ I used the custom “Upload Your Own” option in Evite to upload my own design to send invites for Tay’s part. Here’s a link to check it out! If you don’t want to create your own invite, they also have lots of pre-made options. I created my design in Canva and uploaded the PDF document into Evite, uploaded our guests emails and sent there!
Cake
+ We have now used Kendal Jean Bakes for both of Taya’s parties; her first last year we also bought a smaller smash cake with it. She is crazy talented and did such an amazing job with exactly what I wanted. I sent her pictures I found in pinterest & she nailed it. We wanted those same softer muted pink/peach and orange tones. I bought the candle from Amazon & the Bluey figurine was also from Amazon. It came in a pack of 4 with the whole family, but we decided to just add Bluey on top.
Balloon Arch
+ I knew I wanted to do the ballon arch with blue balloons, but I also wanted it to be more muted & have some pink/orange tones as well. I bought this kit from Etsy for the bulk of the balloons, then filled in the rest with these pink balloons and orange as well.
Bluey Balloon
+ We bought two different Bluey balloons; both were great quality - one was more shiny and had arm cut outs where the other was a softer matte coloring and was one piece.
Twisted Candles
+ Another Amazon find! Loved these twisted colorful candles to add some pops of color around & match the theme. They came in packs of 2 and were reasonably priced. Super bright and bold colors which I loved.
Plates, Napkins, Cups & Utensils
+ I found the plates and matching napkins on Etsy - I loved the shades of orange (Bluey’s sister is Bingo on the show and she is orange!) so I thought having the matching was so cute. The cups were also an Etsy find; I believe the same seller as the plates/napkins but I decided to do blue stripe for a contrasting color and pattern. Utensils are from Amazon! I just loved the sparkly blue color, they were gorgeous and great quality.
Cake Topper + Bluey/Bingo Toothpicks
+ The cake topper is from Etsy and I am so impressed with the detail of it! I accidentally ended up buying two.. I used one in a bouquet of flowers, and the other I cut the long stick off of and added to a vase on the table. Really great quality, thick paper, definetly a keepsake item. I am going to add it to her scrapbook! The Bluey & Bingo toothpicks were also from Etsy and were perfect for snacks/food!
