Holiday Movie List + Ratings
It’s probably no surprise to you, especially if you follow my Instagram stories anytime from about end of October to end of December.. but I love Christmas & Holiday movies! Last year I made a list of all of my favorites that I watched, then ranked them out of five stars. When I shared this with YOU, you guys wanted to see the list haha - don’t judge me I watch a lot of them! But you all are my people & sound like you love them too. After sharing my list, it was requested to put them on my blog so you can come back them & be reminded of what to watch. Since I am a sucker for all of the cheese and romance, take these ratings lightly haha as I am sure we all have different opinions!

Ratings are based loosely on:
Did the movie keep me interested the whole time? Did the plot make sense?
Do the characters have good chemistry/are they believable?
Was the acting decent or was it too cheesy to watch?
Did they use real snow or was it pieces of white felt? (jk, but this actually is the worst
and might actually make it drop a star haha)
MY HIGHEST RATED MOVIE:
My most highly rated movie, and I believe my only five star rating (wow am I that tough of a critic haha?!) is ‘The Princess Switch’ (Netflix) which was given a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. It is seriously so cute! I also love that the main actors are know from other shows/movies so they play their characters well. It’s festive, fun, and easy to watch. Just don’t be the person who trues to guess the plot in the beginning, because you will probably guess it no problem ha!

The Grinch (Animated) ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
WowI didn’t think the Jim Carey Grinch could get any better but this was hilarious!! Super funny, really cute
plot with a sweet ending. The music was amazing & everything was clever like you would expect for Dr. Suess.
A Gift Wrapped Christmas (Lifetime - 2016) ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
I thought this movie was adorable! I love the main character; it is lighthearted with a good message &
I love that it doesn’t seem to cheesy and “scripted”. Really innocent too!
Christmas Scavenger Hunt (Hallmark) ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
One of the more classic Christmas movie plots, but the actors were cute together and I though it was fun
and easy to watch.
Merry & Bright (Hallmark) ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
This movie was pretty cute & clever, I actually thought it was sweet and had some special moments in it.
I also liked the characters a lot, although the plot was easy to guess.
A Very Country Christmas (UPtv) ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Overall I liked this movie, I thought it was sweet and would be a good family movie. It focuses on relationships
and trust, but doesn’t really follow the classic Christmas movie plot. This male lead is also in everything haha.
A Very Country Wedding (UPtv) ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
The sequel to the Very Country Christmas, this one was equally cheesy and sorta cringy haha! I like the
characters and the ended was really sweet, but definitely didn’t always make the most sense.
A Christmas Movie Christmas (Hallmark) ⭐️
So boring & predictable, and the plot was super easy to guess. Que all the fake snow and not the best acting.
