Eye Products To Add Into Your Routine

For the longest time I always wondered why when I applied concealer or makeup to my face that my under eyes were so dry a&d it seems like a no makeup product would ever sit well in my under eye. When I started taking better care of my under eye & really using skin care targeted for that specific area I feel like makeup actually applies so much better. I think a combination of all of these products really work best; while they all do different things they really work together to create a hydrated, smooth and glowing under eye area. I also feel like I struggle a bit with sometimes waking up with dark areas under my eyes, I know that typically relates to lack of sleep for me personally, and I find that when I’m really consistent with doing this under I routine my under eyes are not nearly as dark.

what to use and when to use it

+ Oil (all over or for dry spot treatment): Elemis Superfood Facial Oil or Herbivore Phoenix Anti-aging facial oil for dry skin - you can also target the under eye area with a light dabbing of minimal product to the dry area. I typically like to use oils at night so you don’t have to worry about feeling like your skin looks to heavy/greasy from the oil. However if you use a small amount as a first step to your under eye routine, it can help create a really smooth and hydrated base for concealer.

+ Under eye gel: Elemis Pro-collagen eye revive mask gel - can use daily either AM or PM. I really love the way this mask feels & sits on my skin. It targets the look of puffiness & dark circles and is formulated with hyaluronic acid, while being antioxidant rich. The texture of it is like a bouncy gel and it actually feels cool and refreshing on the skin, while making your under eye instantly feel smoother & look more youthful. It works great as a primer, I love to apply before make up, and I really feel like it smooths the skin out in my under eye.

+ Under eye balm: Tula Glow & Get It cooling under eye stick - can use daily in the morning. I love this product layered over the oil or gel; it gives a little cooling feeling as well as a glow to your under eye. Helps you look and feel more awake.

+ Under eye cream: Ole Henrikson Banana Bright Eye Crème is great if used as a last step before applying makeup. I love that it creates a smooth & bright base to your under eye. It also gives a gorgeous subtle glow and almost instantly brightens the under eye skin.
